SSROC conducts the Request for Tender processes in accordance with Section 55 of the NSW Local Government Act 1993. 

Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC) on behalf of its participating member and other Councils invite tenders from suitably qualified companies for the tenders detailed below.


SSROC T2025-12 Stationery, Furniture, Janitorial & Associated Products

The scope of services includes the provision of the following:

The Request for Tender (RFT) seeks suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers to provide goods and/or services across seven (7) Categories. Respondents may tender for one, multiple, or all Categories, and further can make a submission for one or more products within a category i.e. quotation for the full Basket of Goods is not required for each category.

Councils reserve the right to award to one or multiple Suppliers per Category.

The Categories collectively cover the end‑to‑end needs of participating Councils. Tenderers must demonstrate capability, capacity, compliance, quality assurance, and value for money within each Category tendered.

Category 1 – General Office Products including but not limited pens, paper products, folders, staplers, office IT peripherals, bathroom and associated products.

Category 2 – Sustainable Printing Paper (Recycled, Carbon Neutral & Virgin)

Category 3 – Office Catering Supplies including but not limited tea, coffee, disposable cups and associated products.

Category 4 – Arts & Craft Supplies including but not limited provision to libraries, community programs, schools etc.

Category 5 – First Nation Office Stationery and Furniture including but not limited designed and manufacture/produced products.

Category 6 – Office Furniture including but not limited to desks, chairs, storage units and associated products.

Category 7 – Automated Supply Dispensing Cabinets / Vending Units Service

• All other associated goods and services as per the Councils’ requirements.

SSROC T2025-16 Sustainable Pavements – Road Construction Material & Related Services

Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC) on behalf of its participating Councils invites tenders from suitably qualified companies for the abovementioned requirement, in accordance with the Request for Tender (RFT) for the initial contract term of five (5) years subject to satisfactory performance, which will be determined by SSROC and the participating councils, with option to extend for up to two (2) years (awarding 1+1).

Participating Councils are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers that can provide the range of products and services that meet Council’s requirements as per below.

  • Supply of Asphalt (including RCG Asphalt)
  • Supply and lay Asphaltic Concrete
  • Pavement Millings and Reinstatement (Mill & Fill)

  • Concrete Pavement Patching
  • Pavement stabilisation
  • Pavement Rejuvenation treatments

  • All other associated goods and services as per the Councils’ requirements

25 NSW Councils Target Carbon Emissions In Huge Deal With ZEN

One of the largest renewable energy deals for local government, which will see 25 councils supplied by three NSW solar farms, has been announced today by the Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC), which brokered the deal, with electricity retailer, ZEN Energy Retail Pty Ltd.
